Return Policy

1) National Market (India)

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellation can be made within 24 hours or before the parcel is dispatched.


EXCHANGE POLICY

  • If the customer receives the product in perfect condition but is unsatisfied, they may request an exchange only. Refunds are not provided.

  • If a product is defective or damaged, only the product will be exchanged. No refund will be given.

  • If the customer does not like the product and wants to buy another product, the customer will have to pay the courier charges on both sides (dispatch and return).

  • Return/exchange/damaged request can be raised within 7 days.

  • Once we receive the request, we will replace/exchange the product in 5–7 business days.

  • Refunds are not applicable as per company policy.


SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • For stitched products, only a size exchange within the same product is possible. They cannot be exchanged with another product.

  • Exchanges are only allowed once per order.

  • Only products that are unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, with all labels and tags intact in original packaging are eligible for exchange.

  • The customer has to send the parcel back, as we do not provide pickup for exchanges. If pickup is requested and available, ₹200 per piece will be charged.

  • The exchanged product will be dispatched only after we receive the old product.

  • If your package arrives tampered with or damaged, please refuse delivery. If accepted, DASTKAR will not be liable.


DAMAGED / WRONG PRODUCTS (Opening Video Required)

  • Please make an unboxing video. Without it, the product will not be considered under damaged/wrong category.

  • Contact us immediately within 2 days of delivery via WhatsApp +91 88249 87345 or email dastkar.co@gmail.com.

  • We will try to arrange a pickup if available; otherwise, the customer must send it back.

  • Replacement/Exchange only – no refunds will be issued.


NOT CONSIDERED DAMAGED

  • If the dress doesn’t suit you.

  • Disliking fabric quality/texture.

  • Minor issues like tassels pulled during transit.

  • Minor printing variations (unevenness, roughness) due to hand-block printing.

  • Color variations (up to 10%) due to screen/light.

  • Size variations of +/- 5%.


NON-EXCHANGEABLE ITEMS

  • Custom products, personalized items.

  • Sale/discounted/coupon/gift voucher products.



2) International Market (Outside India)

At Dastkar, all products are dispatched only after a strict quality check. While refunds are not available, we do offer product replacement/exchange in case of genuine issues.


NO REFUNDS

  • Refunds are not possible for international orders.

  • If you receive a damaged or wrong product, we will provide a replacement/exchange only.


NOT VALID FOR EXCHANGE

The following issues will not be considered as damage/defect:

  1. Fit Issues – If the dress does not suit you.

  2. Fabric Quality/Texture – Slightly rough/old look due to fabric nature.

  3. Minor Issues – Tassels pulled, small loose threads, etc.

  4. Handmade Variations – Slight roughness, unevenness, or minor printing variations (normal in hand-block printing).

  5. Color Variations – Up to 10% difference due to screen resolution or lighting.

  6. Size Variations – +/- 5% difference is natural and not considered damage.


QUALITY ASSURANCE

  • Every product is carefully inspected before dispatch.

  • If you still receive a wrong or damaged product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with proper unboxing images/videos.

  • After verification, we will provide a replacement/exchange of the product.

  • No monetary refunds will be processed.
